NATUROPATHY TREATMENTS
Hi There,I am Dr. Sanu M. Augustine MSW, RSW, ND, DNM, BSc. I used to practice different therapeutic modalities in Canada and India over ten years. I have treated thousands of clients with the help of cupping therapy and seen massive improvements in their overall health.
Let me introduce cupping therapy,Cupping involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. The suction may facilitate healing with blood flow.
Many people believe that cupping helps balance yin and yang, or the negative and positive, within the body. Restoring balance between these two extremes is thought to help with the body’s resistance to pathogens as well as its ability to increase blood flow and reduce pain.
Cupping increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This may relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It may also help form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue.
People use cupping to complement their care for a host of issues and conditions.
HIJAMA THERAPYHijama therapy, cupping creates a mild suction by leaving a cup in place for about 3 minutes. The therapist then removes the cup and uses a small scalpel to make light, tiny cuts on your skin. Next, he or she does a second suction to draw out a small quantity of blood.
You might get 3-5 cups in your first session. Or you might just try one to see how it goes.
Many people think it’s a painful therapy, but in reality it’s NOT. It looks little scary for someone, but it helps with many health issues such as circulation issues, Arthritis, varicose veins, accident injuries, sciatic nerve issues, numbness, lower and upper back pain, neck pain etc.
Cupping therapy supporters believe that wet cupping removes harmful substances, toxins, excess mineral deposits from the body to promote healing.
